It’s been one week since 11 News confirmed the on-duty death of a Baltimore City Department of Public Works employee was heat-related. Ronald Silver’s family is demanding action from both the City Council and the mayor’s office on Monday. They want to know exactly what happened the moments before he died and what steps are being taken to prevent this from happening to someone else. They also want other DPW workers to come forward and share work environment stories and they want a liaison to provide the family with updates in real-time.
