DOJ Official Testifies On Report That Blamed Top Officials For Family Separation | NBC News NOW

22 gedachten over “DOJ-functionaris getuigt over rapport waarin topfunctionarissen de schuld krijgen van scheiding van gezinnen | NBC-nieuws NU”
  1. Let's be real– this "policy" was nothing short of 1st degree, state sanctioned child abuse. Mental health experts and social workers said as much at the time. The DOJ leadership "went along" with this policy and are, at best, complicit in the crimes committed against these children and their parents. Family separation is only the tip of the iceberg of abuses these poor children were subjected to– there have been reports of incidents of sexual abuse, gross neglect, medical malfeasance, and even deaths. I will never forget the videos of children literally caged inside of Walmart warehouses lying on concrete floors weeping for their mothers. The trauma these families have experienced will be lifelong. I also won't forget comments made by members of the public, "good Christian patriots" with children of their own, who willfully refused to see the humanity in people who looked different from them. It's terrifying how easily some people can lose their own sense of humanity. Quite frankly, I feel as if we've all been traumatized by the Trump era.

  2. It was their whiteness that gave them the continual right to make the horrid decision. It's just like during slavery separating babies and young children from their mothers.

  3. These are innocent young children and new borns who were ripped away from their parents , what does that say about previous administration ? People who were directly involved separating and locking children in cages ? Democratic civilised society who are supposed to save people in destress ? But in this case they carried out the evil deeds themselves , how can they go about their business on a daily basis as if nothing happened? how can they sleep peacefully or live with themselves ? it's beyond any human being . These individuals should be brought to justice . A piece of paper to pardon themselves shouldn't be allowed after such a crime . What's transparent is join the government commit a crime at high level and get a piece of paper to pardon yourselves . Public wants to see justice for those families and their children.

  4. It's heartbreaking that Nazis were in power in America. Now we need trials like Nuremburg. And NO, Teddy Cruz, its not just for Nuremburg.

  5. Sessions can be found under the rock in the muddy hole that he lives in. Careful though he may bite but all you have to do is say boo you little F N white supremacist and he will crawl back in his hole crying, saying I want my mommy.

  6. Senate inquiry into cruelty charges. How can the US accuse other countries of human rights abuses when they themselves rip babies and children from mothers arms. Shame shame shame

  7. T——-p and his followers have to be held accountable. All of those families need to get together and file a civil lawsuit. Does anyone know if anyone is planning on filing any civil lawsuits against him? Or are they waiting to see what criminal charges will be filed on him?

  8. Look separating kids from adults is standard. To verify that infact it is there parent also there is no abuse but way way too far a lawsuit needs to be filed against Trump he's the one in charge.
